Wisconsin Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense agency, recently honored KPH Construction with a Patriot Award in recognition of extraordinary support of its employees serving in the Wisconsin Guard and Reserve.
According to Richard Vallin, Wisconsin ESGR Chair, “The Patriot Award was created to recognize those who provide outstanding patriotic support and cooperation to their employees who have answered their nation’s call to serve. KPH Construction was nominated for being highly supportive of the National Guard and Reserve Service by Reserve Component employees. Supportive supervisors are critical to maintaining the strength and readiness of the nation’s Guard and Reserve units.”
By signing the Statement of Support, we are sending a clear message to the employees of KPH that while they are serving their country they do not have to worry about their civilian jobs.
Accepting the award with Leo Talsky Director of KPH’s Mentoring & Incubator Program. In addition, KPH Construction signed a Statement of Support for the Guard and Reserve pledging to continually recognize the country’s service members and their families in peace, in crises and in war. Company founder and CEO Keith P Harenda said, “By signing the Statement of Support, we are sending a clear message to the employees of KPH that while they are serving their country they do not have to worry about their civilian jobs.”
