KPH Puts Roof Over Hebron Housing Services’ Head

New Roof Installation in Home

In September, KPH began a project with Hebron Housing Services to replace the roof of its Jeremy House, one of three short-term emergency shelters the organization offers to men, women and children struggling with homelessness in Waukesha County.

The main goal of the job was to remove the existing, failing transite roofing panels and improve the structure of the roof. KPH replaced the existing roof with an updated, fully weather-tight roof system. Work also included wrapping the soffits with aluminum and adding more comprehensive lighting around the perimeter of the building. KPH Environmental performed the abatement and removal of asbestos contained in the transite roofing panels.

KPH Construction donated a large amount of its time to help manage and coordinate the project for the non-profit organization, the oldest in its community to offer short-term shelter and long-term case management to end homelessness. The job was funded through the Waukesha County Community Development Block Grant and was completed in October.
