KPH Completes Roseman Hall Gym Floor

In July, KPH began a project to replace the gym floor at UW-Whitewater’s Roseman Hall. The 4,200 square foot poured urethane was to be replaced with a new hardwood athletic floor system better suited for the heavy use the court sees as the home for the men’s and women’s wheelchair basketball teams.

As the project got underway, KPH found that various areas across the concrete subfloor needed to be leveled to meet the tolerances of the new wood floor being installed. Since demolition of the existing floor was completed a week ahead of schedule, KPH was easily able to solve the issue and remain on schedule.

The total removal and replacement of the gym floor took about seven weeks, from early July to mid-August. The project was finished under budget and on schedule, prior to students returning to campus.
