Continued Work with Wisconsin Air National Guard

KPH is a proud partner of the Wisconsin Air National Guard which trains and prepares citizen-airmen to respond to state emergencies or the call of the President in times of crisis. With another 5-Year MATOC awarded to us and more work on the horizon, we look back on the Wisconsin Air National Guard projects we've been fortunate enough to work on:

Serving the Wisconsin Air National Guard

KPH continues to serve the needs of the Wisconsin Air National Guard. This past year, we completed and kicked off new projects at all three Wisconsin Air National Guard bases including the 115th Fighter Wing at Traux Field in Madison, Volk Field in Camp Douglas and the 128th Air Refueling Wing at General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee.

Truax Field

At Truax Field in Madison, infrastructure is needed for the 115th Fighter Wing’s new highly anticipated F-35 fighter jets. KPH completed the repair and renovation of a maintenance facility that will service the F-35 Air to Ground Equipment. We also recently broke ground on a new medical readiness facility. As the Wisconsin Air National Guard’s 115th Fighter Wing busily continues to convert to the F-35 Lightning II aircraft, the new medical readiness facility is a new two-story building that will allow for the 115th Medical Group to carry out their mission to provide immediate incident response to natural and man-made disasters from under one roof.

Volk Field

KPH will also be returning to Volk Field in 2023 after wrapping up a base-wide, lightning protection upgrade that wrapped up in very early 2022. This time KPH is contracted to remove and replace several Oil Water Separators on base.

General Mitchell Field

In Milwaukee at the 128th Air Refueling Wing, KPH has been hired to construct all vertical structures of a new state-of-the-art fuel facility designed to replace and upgrade the existing undersized and outdated fuel storage facility. This highly anticipated and high-visibility project will have its official groundbreaking in the spring of 2023.
