KPH successfully managed hazardous materials abatement services at various locations throughout the City of Milwaukee’s Housing Authority. The work included high-rise and two-story apartments, row houses, single-family homes, multi-family (one- to four-family) apartment buildings, scattered sites and Community Resource Centers.
KPH Environmental encapsulated, removed and disposed of asbestos-containing materials and installation of insulation for thermal equipment and pipe. In addition, our crews successfully eliminated all identified lead-based paint containing materials, including the repair of polymer wall systems All of work was self performed by KPH Environmental and included 20% MBE and WBE participation.
The result was Housing Authority residents in 154 small- and large-scale projects living free of asbestos and lead-based paint, performed at a rate of more than 6 projects per month.
